L’Hotel restaurant l’Avet té el seu inici com a restaurant l’any 1982. Després d’alguns anys d’inactivitat , l’any 1997 va ser reprès per Na Marta i la seva família, els quals, amb la seva inestimable ajuda, van donar l’impuls definitiu a l’establiment, convertint-lo en un restaurant de referència a la comarca.Aquest petit restaurant familiar, amb el pas dels anys , ha anat creixent i modernitzant les seves instal·lacions, transformant-se en un petit hotel de muntanya, amb habitacions familiars i acollidores.El nostre objectiu és que passin grans moments amb nosaltres i que casa nostra sigui casa seva.Degut a la seva situació estratègica i central dins de Catalunya, des del Port del Comte estem molt aprop de la major part del territori català; a 2 hores en cotxe de ciutats com Barcelona i Girona i a molt menys de tota la resta.
